Made ~ Valentine Collage Book

Since I had so much fun creating my first collage book, I immediately created another one.  This one has a Valentine's theme and is full of cherubs, roses and quotes about love.  I'm pleased with how it turned out.  What do you think?

Made ~ Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday Party

The day after Thanksgiving my little boy turned two. He is obsessed with all things Thomas the Tank Engine. So it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the party would have a Thomas theme.

I ordered the invitations from Etsy.  I love the fact that they look like train tickets.

The color scheme was mainly royal blue, red and white with a few touches of kelly green thrown in for good measure. I found this large Thomas the Tank Engine balloon at our local party store and it's still afloat nearly a month and a half later.

The menu consisted of Gordon's Goldfish, Branch Lines (pretzel sticks), Brendham Buffalo Chicken Dip, Suddery Spinach Dip, Coal Pops (Oreo pops), Mighty Mac's M&Ms and Tidmouth Tidbits (vegetable tray).  Sodor Water (bottled water) and Diesel Fuel (juice boxes) were the drinks.

The centerpiece of the food table had to be the Thomas the Tank Engine cake I got from Publix.  The cake was made in the shape of Thomas and included a two episode DVD.

I purchased brown craft bags from Michael's and adorned them with blue and red ribbons and a label I made.  The bags held a small wooden train, a train wooden puzzle, bubbles, crayons, small coloring sheets I found online and Tootsie Rolls.  The wooden train and puzzle came from Target's Dollar Spot.

Made ~ Marie Antoinette Collage Book

I'm normally a painter but recently I've been delving into the world of collage.  Here is my first attempt at a collage book.  The theme of this book was Marie Antoinette.  She's been my muse of late.
